Baylebridge – Fräulein

Baylebridge is a colloboration between Atay İlgün and Baylebridge (He wishes to be unknown with his real name),where Atay takes the part of words and Baylebridge takes the part of acoustic guitars.

They have became familiar with each others musical offerings during the days of Ashberry’s Resin. ‘The partnership was laid upon us as one night he played me his instrumentals and I read him some of some surreal yet natural poems which simply couldn’t find any home at any of my other projects’ , quotes Atay.

All of the music was recorded between 28th of September and 2nd of October. All of them are recorded in one take due to respect for the first night they have played together and the aura it created. The uniqueness of first performence were spectacular. The feeling of nostalgia for that night gained power with time and it forced the musicians to recreate that sense of memory with the sound of surface noise. It’s the only overdub used.

The music and the words wonder through natural offerings of lands all around the world, different cultures, happenings and various personas. And they combine to produce such a wonderful art with the photos of Marc Hasselbalch.

CD’s come in card sleeves accompanied with a photo card and an information card. Lastly bound with translucent paper and sealed with an initial W.

We hope you enjoy Fräulein.
